How can we involve visitors of the Triennale in Milan to take part to an exhibition on sustainable living and to project themselves into the construction of their own daily scenario?

The Sustainable Everyday exhibition design was based on the metaphor of the sustainable solution basket: the entrance ticket was provided with a barcode allowing visitors to browse between different food, mobility, work, housekeeping, leisure… scenarios proposed through short movie clips.

At the end of the visit, a  printout synthesis was providing them explanations on the meaning of their choices while the log of their preferences was stored.

This interactive process allows to turn a public exhibition into a large local focus group and gather data for further improvement of the scenarios…
